Don’t need to be going that fast with that much weight. A KT was originally just a stationary engine, and well known for head gasket problems. There’s a way around that though, and it makes a nice big horse in its stock form. Yea many like 1000 horses, and that’s fine, but not really needed….

 

No Sir, it’s a cherry pitter that belonged to my wife’s family. And it’s mounted to a piece of wood from the farm house that stood under the east bound I-64 bridge, at exit 11 here in WV. Her dad was born there in 1932…..

When I see a red R600 I remember in about 1975 a good friend of mine called on the CB that he was going to pass me for the first time.
He just barely got by me and there was a hitchhiker hanging out the passenger window with a can of ether and his eyes streaming tears.that air cleaner was in the perfect place so he could over ride the governor.
That 237 5 speed was geared for 63 flat out and I had a shiny 290 with a 13 and 463 gears and was governed at 67.
