FYI off US97 at exit 143 is a little place called Riverwoods Country Store. There's a patch of land there a semi can park at. During my 1st winter driving, I was heading through that area and desperately needed to get off the road and get parked. Found the place on Google Maps satellite view, called them up to check if I could park there and ended up spending 2 days there waiting for road conditions to improve enough that a rookie like me could safely drive. They were quite accommodating and carry fond memories of getting 'stuck' there. Also, although I haven't seen it, Bend Oregon has the distinction of having the only remaining Blockbuster Video store in existence that is still open. I drive US97 through there fairly regularly.

 

I’m in Redmond and have talked to a few of the Arrow guys. It’s been a few months but I wanna say they gross about $1800-2300 a week. I think they start off about $28-30hr with OT after 40. The one guy said he works a 6th day as an option and will easily make $130k he said even the lazy drivers make in the high 80s. Sounds like the new guys work weekends and nights. I was gonna apply but driving over the mountains every night would get real old, real quick.
