Anyone have a copy of the wiring diagrams for a 94 W9? I have a wiring issue that I can't find.
When I activate the brake lights my fender markers/signals light up as well as the green turn signal indicators on the dash. It's very faint and only visible at night unless I plug a trailer in then you can see it in the day time.

It could also be as simple as your tractor tail lights losing ground due to salt corrosion.Klleetrucking and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this. -
It definitely seems like the brake circuit is backfeeding into a place it shouldn't be. Maybe I'll try wiring a complete new ground to the tail lights and see if that helps.

Check your grounds, it is like an old 70’s caddi that has ground problems, hit the brakes the marker lights light up.

I'd probably start by unplugging the rear light harness. If it continues it's forward, if not it's in the rear.

That sounds like a bad ground issue to me, power will feed back through other circuits causing the issue you describe here.
Check, clean, or replace your trailer plug on the truck side, the back side can get corroded.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -

Once I had a turn signal wire rubbed bare in the steering column of our 379 Pete. Turns out that the universal joint in the steering shaft was rubbing it. I like to have never found why it kept intermittently blowing fuses to the turn signals.
You talk about frustrating having no turn signals on a major interstate with 6 and 7 lanes and a wide load track hoe on board.
It sounds like to me that your brake wiring is bleeding into the turn circuit on the truck because of two worn together wires.ProfessionalNoticer Thanks this. -
Once a trailer is hooked up it's intensified. The symptoms are a little different depending on which trailer I'm hooked to but there's no doubt the issue is on the truck side. At least I got that far with figuring it out I guess
