Good point. This is why if you're not hauling commodities right now, you better find a way to do it. I think we're in for quite a shock, especially if you're hauling freight or new cars.

This is some of the best advice I've seen. Have everything paid off! Dave Ramsey show convinced me of this a long time ago. I was going to have my 12.7 Detroit rebuilt in my glider this month even though with 1,600,000 it still runs great but wanted to rebuild while on vacation and before anything major goes wrong. They can't say for sure if they can get all the parts so we're going to just do bearings and new clutch and keep my paid for truck going.
