that road is creepy at night. all indian rez thru there. there was a thread not to long ago about creepy stuff we have seen on the road... thats the road i saw people walking on the side of the road at 2-3am, look in the mirrors right as i passed them and they didnt exist..

 

Are you talking about US 491? I did take that alot, usually after getting off US 550 to US 64 and then US 491 North to Monticello and then US 191 North. At that time, I was pulling a lot of stuff out Dallas going up to Umatilla and Portland areas, mostly HVAC stuff, and that was the route I took regularly, especially after discovering 550 because of the white knuckle ride. I had dropped a load of pipe from Catoosa, OK to Parachute, CO gas operation, and figured it was the fastest way to get to Aztec/Farmington NM area. It was, except for that (actually) Ouray to Durango nightmare.

 

I had a question that I wanted to ask you younger guys. At a few watering holes, I’ve noticed that the front butt female crowd now walk around with the front of their shirt pulled up, allowing a massive spare tire of a stomach to be exposed and ride upon the front butt. A couple of them sport these giant tattoos across the gut.

Anyways, I was just wanting to know, are the young guys into some sort of beer gut fetish or something? Or is it one of those take what you can get deals?

 

I think a lot has to do with the plus size models now culture now. The whole body positivity thing. It has women feeling like they are supermodels when they arent. Which makes them feel like wearing skimpy clothes and showing off their rolls...

 

This particular curve is about 7 miles or so south of exit 11 on I-64 here in WV. This is route 10 in WV, and just one of many……
