Oregon is not on IFTA, they do ton mile tax for commercial vehicles. That’s why you see prices posted X.Xxx W/PUC.
The rate per mile for 80,000 lbs or less is 10ths of a penny. 1000 miles is about $28.00.Last edited: Mar 8, 2022

Should be your license plate No.
You run Oregon very often? -
I would too. $.32/mi is like $2/g fuel tax... crazy.
-
Yep, first time we went through OR I called our permit girl, asked if I needed a fuel permit. She said it's already all set and tied to the plate.
Not really, this will be our third trip into Oregon over the past year. Loading out of Sac tomorrow heading to Boardman, a little east of Biggs Junction. -
Hey, that couch of his is prolly getting pretty lonely at this point.

Because right now, this is his situation:

The port/industrial area along the river, called port of morrow. Lots of food processing there. They do have a loves, medium sized. Can’t remember the name of the chevron at the next exit EB. Little bit of parking, mostly the locals. The rest area is small, like 10 or 15 spaces. All these are just a few miles from the port/industrial area.
