I have a 2016 Peterbilt day cab with paccar motor. While driving down the road the speedometer will drop out. Engine fan will come on. And cruise control resets.

Did you find the issue? We are having the same issue with our 587
-
Does anyone know what this issue is?
-
I'm experiencing the same issue. During the time the fan is on, I cannot get higher rpm but normally can maintain the same rpm as when it stopped working.
-
Did you guys ever figure this out? I have a 2017 that is doing the exact same thing
-
Did you ever figure out the issue with the speedometer dropping out my peterbilt 579 is doing same thing
-
I've changed the speedo and cleaned all the connections and still is having the same issue but it seems to be doing it a lot less. I drove 600 miles before it did it again

Was wondering if you guys found out what was wrong? What was causing the speedometer to do this mine as a 2016 579 Doing the same thing? I thought maybe it was the warning harness. I've done checked every wire twisted. And pulled cannot figure it out. I have changed the CE. CU still doing it. Was going to change all-wheel sensors.Didn't know if this or cluster.Has anybody found the issue
