What is your pick?
With the coming (here?) financial problems coming down the pike, would you:
Drive for a company that moves auto parts and cabinets in dry vans.
OR
Move commodities in a hopper?
The hopper currently pays better. Insurance is about the same.cke, PoleCrusher and CAXPT Thank this. -
Pulled into a loves yesterday to top off and get a shower. Cash pump price was $4.949.
Parked, went in for shower. Maybe in the place 45 minutes. Back to truck, look up at sign, cash price now $5.249cke, PoleCrusher, MOBee and 5 others Thank this. -
I was looking in the Love's app yesterday planning my fuel stop and would leave a page and then come back to it and then per gallon price had jumped .20.pete781693, cke, PoleCrusher and 5 others Thank this.

Carhartt forgot about the very people that have kept them in business and turned into a fashion company for hipsters or weekend farmers. Very annoying. I actually buy USA made vintage Carhartt jackets on eBay. Recently scored one that was never worn and hung in a closet so long the arm was faded. Fits great and was only $70. The same version now is more and foreign made.DeereRunner97, Gatordude, cke and 9 others Thank this.

Problem I see is whatever you pick if it's a good choice every one else is going to do it and you end up with trying to put 10lbs of flour in a 5lb sack. I was thinking of only doing ag work as no matter what folks still need to eat but the word around the campfire is that's what everyone is thinking. Go from nobody wanting to work on poop spreaders to a bidding war on doing the job.
No thanks, I'll sit back now and watch it burn. I'm privileged to be in this position but it was a lot of work to get here.
I have no good answers, I'm just pretty sure nobody is there to reverse course and save the day.cke, PoleCrusher, Brettj3876 and 5 others Thank this. -
That explains it, I'm usually wearing tennis shoes of some sort, steel toed and normal.

I have to agree. They are on a time crunch to plunge us into dependence before the midterm elections which, so far, show they may not be in the driver's seat for much longer. The Emperor has no clothes, and even his own party can see it.

My youngest (Who is built close to the ground.) wears Duluth Trader work pants and he likes them really well. Just a thought.Last edited: Mar 10, 2022
