I picked up a bunch of Woolrich flannels at a second hand store for like $3 a piece....score!

Prison Blues makes great hickory shirts. I have a couple and they seem to last. I've never used their pants but I see a lot of the woods crew wearing them.

 

What is this "work" you speak of doing?

 

I used to do prison ministry with a guy that got into a 'little' bit of trouble with coke.

It started as a way for wanna be street thugs trying for "street cred". Some hip hop group, I don't remember which, started it because they thought it was how all prisoners wore their pants. The real thugs were laughing at them.

I think now it's just a fashion, most just fitting in with every other dumb kid on the block.

 

5 button shrink to fits have been in my wardrobe for 40 years— can’t see that changing to much at this point
