I had forgotten about continental. I ran their trailer tires on a company truck and they seemed to hold up well. Those look good for 195k. I could go with the same double coins I had on the classic but I'm putting alot more miles on this truck and I'm hoping to get some longer life.

95% on highway at or near 80k. Some gravel lots and the like so a steer isn't really something I'm looking at.

 

That’s an expensive habit!

 

I pulled my XDN2’s off with 433,000 and they still had 4/32 on them.

I never got a pic, but since I’m a bachelor for a short spell, my daughter came over and fixed fried taters, cabbage with polish sausage, and cornbread along with baked beans….

 

Premco in Texas is top shelf when it comes to injectors. They flow them and match them evenly.

2 members that use to post here have seen under the hood of my truck, and heard how my engine idles, along with throttle response. I turned it down some last time I was in it, but it still holds its own for the jobs I do….

 

If your rarely going into off road situations, a rib and block tread may give you a better performance over a “traction lug” style.

 

Hopefully we get April showers, we definitely need them.

I have read multiple people say they've gotten 350k plus out of michelins.

I've been leaning towards a closed shoulder tire but depending on the mileage I could expect I'm not solely looking for them.
