i have searched not really finding a decent answer. so about a month ago i called NASTC and gave them my $250. couldnt get into a class until 3-18.Currently i am using the mudflap app and paying which a credit card that i recieve 5% at fuel stops. yesterday i stopped in Indiana and the pump price was 4.99 so with mudflap and my CC i paid 4.25. i just came across a TCS fuel card and was wondering how it compared to NASTC. or i am open to any fuel card option. i really hate having to go to nashville to the class just to reiceve the card. 1 day lost revenue, when the TCS card may be just as good discount? or maybe just contiue the mudflap and my 5% CC. what options are yall doing? thanks, 6 months new authority, but only the 3rd week running so far.

NASTC will be worth the trip.

TCS is free but you have to fund the card and it can be a pain. Their CS people are great though, helped me get things figured out and rolling.

If you go with them I recommend figuring out ACH, which is really just volleying a few calls getting your bank in line with their bank. It's not smooth but once you're up and running it's fine.

Their prices are very similar to NASTC without the yearly fee.

I’ll have to see if my bank will do ACH. I hear it is the same discounts as NASTC. I don’t live to far from NASTC, still lost revenue day. So was thinking if tcs is same discount, it may be better.

It's not the same everywhere all the time but it's close, at least where I've checked. I've got a good friend who uses NASTC and runs all 48 and he's tried em all and swears by it. In the last couple months I've been comparing with him and it's close. From what I understand NASTC does have more stations. TCS is primarily Ambest, TA/Petro, Speedway and some Mom n Pops.

Someone here will know this for sure but I don't think either one does business with Loves/FJ/Pilot.

All my friends using TCS send the money with Zelle to TCS. It has no fee and is very quick.

    Siinman and SL3406 Thank this.

RTS has a new discount program with Pilot/FJ. They can convert your NASTC or TCS Fleetone card or issue a new card (one guy told me that he got the card from RTS without converting other one).
The discounts are usually 2 cents better than NASTC but only on pilots/FJ close to a TA/Petro. And there is a 0.5$ transaction fee.
I converted my NASTC card by misunderstanding. Was thinking that they convert my old RTS card that I never used....
Will I do it if I knew that my NASTC card will be converted? - no. I don't like that the discounts are good close to concurents only and the RTS app don't show the prices without IFTA so it's very difficult to compare the prices in different States.

    You can call:

    RTS Carrier Services

I believe I will call TCS tomorrow. If it’s around the same discounts and no yearly fee. Also not having to go to the class. I really do not want to go to the class, going to the class could cost me $3500 in lost Revenue for Friday.
