I got 2,600 for the scrap metal load.
Not great, but I had told the broker I'd call him on Monday to see if it was still available. The price on Monday would be double.
"Customer" jumped on the 2,600 vs the 2000 originally posted.

 

Diesel keeps climbing got a set of these lock on covers.

DEF's not really a high theft item but I locked that up too.

Tire pressure monitor just for the hell of it. Beats doing them individually in the cold.

 

Truck back in the shop for that def issue.
Freight rates have been really bad and brokers have been unwilling to pay more.

Since brokers are unwilling to pay more for the posted miles. When I get back out there no more free miles, they pay for every mile from dock to dock.

RTS has been coming through with some pretty fantastic discounts, I've also just added ES advantage to my cards to give me more options.

Only thing I question with these cards is. How much of a mark up is their in fuel? How are these discounts sustainable?
I also learned that RTS is a broker. So wouldn't that give them power since they know what I'm paying per gallon?

Trucks been in the shop again, I can't seem to get more than 2-3 weeks out of it before I have a problem.

 

I believe you will get past that. More than getting there. I’m praying for you, ever consider hiring your own mechanic?

 

If I get more trucks yeah I've been considering that. But with just one I use the local Kenworth.

 

Got my VorBlade shipment.
$175 for 47 plastic vortex things. Lets see if real or snake oil.

Trucks still at the shop so I got time to get all 47 of these things stickered with the adhesives.

They are snake oil

but. Snake oil works. Just ask Tom cruise in Days of Thunder. So it doesn’t work at all but your belief makes it work
