It's a whole new world just being a company driver.
If some one wanted to be a CEO of a company I would advise them to work from the ground up. Get to know as much as you can before taking the reins.
But that's not for every one. Whatever you decide learn the Fmcsa. I would hate you you to learn the hard way like I do.

GPD, Thanks for another great thread. Your posts are always informative and very humorous. Knowing you through your posts, you have your stuff together and in a row. You step in it and come out better everytime.
And I posted many times before, thanks to all, answering the questions, providing info on trucks and truck repairs. Members providing priceless information. Thanks to these guys, the truck seldom goes to repair shops.

I’ve enjoyed re reading this thread. It’s been kind of like looking at an old To Do list, and realizing how much has actually been achieved, or not achieved. I still haven’t done my fifth wheel, or my front end. Bought a new fifth wheel few months back. Waiting on springtime. I can’t help noticing everyone of you have one thing in common that makes you successful. It’s your attitudes. I appreciate all of you sharing your Journeys.
