I think it’s just a different design than the standard S400SX that is common to class 8 trucks. The SXE is a 10 blade single plane compressor wheel with a little bit different housing. The SX version is a dual plane 6+6 compressor. According to BW’s compressor maps a 76 mm SXE will actually outflow my 78 mm SX. Kicking around the idea of trying one out. Figure a smaller, lighter single plane fan will move a lot of air at cruising RPM where I spend 75% of my driving time. Just thinking out loud basically. I think they’re definitely more popular with the pulling/racing crowd, but they’re built just as sturdy as the SX so I think it would work on a truck. Maybe
