I love the eyes you get right before she bolts!

We had an Appaloosa (a lot of entertainment in a small bundle) gelding that for some reason would stop and run backwards. When you saw his ears turn backward you knew this smart #*& was going to pull a trick on you. He tried to knock me off running under low branches, he would do anything but the worst was running backward.

One day, he did his trick so I jumped off and he backed into a wasp hive. I spent the rest of the day pulling stingers out of him and spraying him down with antiseptic. He whimpered every time I pulled one out and I reminded him that he did it to himself!

Does talking to Indian ponies qualify me for an old folks home?

Lots of cattle in FL actually.

I think the OP just needs to catch a bull hauler near the house, and just start asking as to who's hiring.

Good idea, buy 'em lunch and you'll get better information! I once had a student that wanted to become a "Bovine Relocation Expert" so we stopped in Weatherford Texas and let him talk to one while we went and turned corners. When he got back he claimed he wanted nothing to do with it. I guess he found what he needed to know.

I like you Gadsden Flag BTW.

What they mean by steering wheel holder is this:

The crazy bull haulers I've known...

    1) Log Book? Yup, they all log it like they do it... :biggrin_25525:
    2) Run hard, and I mean crazy hard... 1000 a day anyone?
    3) Run at night
    4) Qual-Comm (what's that???)
    5) Speed Limit? What speed limit?
    6) Know almost every route around chicken shacks...
    7) The nasty? (trailer washouts)

Im a new cow hauler and i second what you said. You dont know cattle you dont haul haul cattle. simple as that. Unless you grew up standing in cow #### your probably not going to score well with any owner op. cow haulers on getting hired
