Dismissed Felony, do you think I’ll have a chance in trucking?

well if it was a simple of writing an attestation on a piece of paper and giving a pinky promise that I got it then I’d consider that route. However forging a vaccine card in and of itself is a felony, they write down information like batch numbers etc that could possibly be traced when and if they implement a system to cross-reference, just not a risk I’m willing to take. If I didn’t already have a record I may consider it but since my last felony was dismissed via deferred adjudication I really doubt I’d get a slap on the wrist for committing another one.

As far as a future company requiring vaccine mandates, I’d leave them too if it came to it. I feel strongly enough about it to leave a 15 year well paying job, I’d leave another company too if it came down to it. I don’t feel it’s up to them to push their beliefs for what is best for my health. There will always be work to be had and the government pushing mandates to all employers would be a very hard sell as it’s unconstitutional. Each employer can mandate as they see fit. My point being there will always be a place for a hard working employee vaccinated or not, even if it’s not my first pick for a career. I do appreciate that you’re trying to help and I respect your opinions, I just don’t agree with them given my circumstances.
