Why are we so concerned with fuel prices?

Will increased fuel costs put you out of business?

Same here, my friend. I spend a lot of time and money keeping my old iron on the road but it's soooo worth it in the long run not having all that overhead on my shoulders.

That 60 series will go for a while still.

How's it looking on your end of the state? Should start picking up real soon. We're staying loaded both ways as much as possible. Got 2 loads booked already and hopefully gonna load back both days. But if not it's fine because that's figured in with the rate coming back empty.

We're just running 1 truck right now waiting on trailer parts.

Not a good example because it was Friday night but there was only 124 loads posted Binghamton to Newark NJ search......

Exactly.. what some don’t understand is it’s not a matter of if at this point it’s a matter of when the economy completely collapses and it is going to be sooner than later at the rate this mess is going..its going to rear it’s ugly head for sure..

Loads are way down on my end. Have to look a little bit harder. I’m not coming home multiple times a week as I have to go to other areas to make the week work.

You ever consider more Midwest all the way as fast as Iowa an back. Seem pretty good. No mountains. Rates are pretty good.

Yeah, for the last few weeks, load boards are terrible and finding new loads for my drivers is hard and frustrating for both me and them. I hope these fuel prices get better soon and for load brokers to stop beeing such cheepskates.
