RM releases Map Updates???

For the first time in, well, I don’t know if I’ve gotten Map Updates for my RM 740 ever. Maybe I did but I don’t remember when. Great having that Lifetime Updates… LOL

So anyway, ya, it happened. They actually released an update to their Map Database.

I went in to look at a few troubled areas that I was aware of and sure enough they are not correct.

now if my hardware will last a bit longer so that I might enjoy this major event happening.

 

I had my CoPilot App ready and updated with the newest maps before attempting to update and glad I did. Failed during update and I had to “Repair GPS” multiple times to fix the 49 corrupted files. Slow going on a cellular connection.

But now the update dot is appearing once again with the same 5.9 Gb download. I’ll be waiting until this weekend to address that when I’m on a better Wi-Fi system and not cellular.

They must not like me. I’ve had an RM730 and now an RM740 and can’t remember ever getting updates.

Maybe I did but I find so many roads not in my database.

and so SO many Loves too.

Thought I’d have to buy the RM750 to get updates… LOL

 

Or connect the 730 directly to the computer and skip the SD Card.
