Makes one wonder how good they took care of it. Hard to imagine spray painting on side of trailer.

Now you know why all the "BIG" hills don't bother me much.

It is supposed to get up to 61 degrees today at home. Woo- hoo. Maybe I can pry myself out of the lazy-boy and go wash my truck.

    Okay I was told :yes2557:

So far just not loving it. First load MBM, PITA to load, 2.5 hrs to scale right. Okay trip first hopper right out it came. Back hopper on that nasty floor trying to hack out the bridge and not end up buried. Vibrator didn't do it then the air line plugged up, now no vibrator until find the plugged point.

Also dropped my high tech phone into the auger while under the trailer, its now gizzard material for chickens.

Next load seed soy beans loaded on a farm closest public scale about 65 miles away. So loaded by the air gauge, wasn't level enough.

79860 on the scale, 35800 on the tractor tandems. Started shoveling and it started raining. Not hard but hard enough. 1. don't want to get beans very wet and not much room for weight gain either. Take my 10 still raining, get a break about 11 am 2 hours later. Over 80 on trailer I run with it. I44 EB scale is totaled when I get there and closed for a while. I55 scale I pass on the frontage road. So could have just ran and hope I did get weighed on the side of the road.

Beans come out slick, over to ADM in Decatur. Can't load because of first load. I am not going to misrepresent this stuff. Buying a load would be rough, but owning a feed lot full of nearly worthless beef would be a game killer.

So pulling a restart since I can't find a legal washout on Sunday. Would think finding a hopper washout would be easy here, it is in PA. I know nest time to find the washout when I pick up a load of Meat & Bone Meal.

Welcome to the world of Hoppers. I luckily don't have to haul that stuff. Rough way to break in but it could have been worse.

I started running hopper hauling MBM . Some places wanted to see your bills from the last 3 loads and wouldn't load you if any of them was MBM . I used to start every week deadheading from Utica , KY to Lynn Center , IL to get a load of MBM for Perdue in Livermore , KY .
