Sometimes you become speechless…. He assured me he had ridden bikes before, and I warned him it was a rigid and set low. Can’t lay it over in curves like other bikes.

Good thing is, I have the knowledge and the ability to bring it back, just have to get passed the current project (s)….

 

My son and I did a '69 Chev PU and a Manx buggy together. When I kicked my cheatin' drunk wife to the curb (my son was 18 at the time) I said the titles to those go to him. Her attorney came back no, she wants the titles or $.
Told my attorney well so much for that, she crossed a line, destroy her and send me the bill.
He got the rigs

 

Sounds like the best solution. "Don't let the door hit ya, where the Good Lord split ya!"

Yup, unfortunately there's a lot of that un-American virus goin round these days...

 

Well, as you can imagine....there are very few times in life that I have nothing to say.
However, I totally get it. Sometimes you are caught off guard by a situation. I totaled a buddies bike in a parking lot of all places when I was younger. I paid his insurance deductible and lent him my car for months. At the time, it was his only vehicle.

 

Fishing boats— you never want to borrow a friend’s boat— they will sink at the dock while still moored

 

Or borrow pickups. Almost a sure thing for me the transmission will puke and I'll feel obligated to replace it.
