I was saddened to hear that the T/A in Woodstock is closing. When arriving in that area late they always had a spot. Nice lot. Awesome restaurant. Apparently the town is buying the property.

I just read that but it said an undisclosed company is buying it. Did you read for sure that it’s the town? Be nice to see it kept open. Hell, if all else fails turn it into a BVD.

With the way the real estate market is right now i wouldn’t be surprised if a developer bought it to build a bunch of house or new building

See what all these transportation professionals sitting in their truck munching cold Cheerios leads to.

That's the only TA in Canada that I know of. Are there any others?

No but if you are looking for something run down and disgusting just look for a Husky or Esso.

IH Truck Guy and JC1971 Thank this.

I heard the announcement on sirius. They stated the Town was buying the property. It really does not matter. It was a real truck stop. Something that does not exist. A few of the BVD's are ok. But as expected they do not know how to clean a shower. Probably ex Husky employees. One would think that a clean shower should not require highly technical skills. This why I prefer to run SOB.
