Be REAL careful when breaking that lease with CR England.
If they trash his DAC, and they most likely will, he's done driving a big truck !!!
    USE CAUTION !!!!

One) Have hubby put in a proper leave of absence as in two-three weeks. Make sure that when hubby turns his truck in, he has mechanic sign off stating his truck was cleaner than a whistle. Otherwise CR England will start charging him money.
Two) Contact USIS after hubby leaves and have them mail you a copy of his of his DAC to ensure no bad marks were made.

Is US Xpress a good place to get your year of experience? From what I've read, most of the posts are positive compared to other companies. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well i'm going with them, since i have been off the road for yr and a half ( a little longer now ) i have no choice but to start back somewhere and there are alot worse places to be at.....now after i put my time in with usxpress when heading over to another compant it should not be that big of a deal since every other company i have driven for is not automatic's....but i have been told to go somewhere and get the wheels rolling again and they are willing to let me do that, are they the best prob not, but are they the worst....NO THEY ARE NOT....so hey just like everyone else i will keep all posted and updated on how it goes....i dont start until the 25th of this month, so i'll keep reading until then.....LOL

Along with the other info given above, do yourselves a big favor, and get a lease with the Truck Maker directly. Go with Volvo, KW, or whoever/whatever truck maker you want, but DONT get into a lease purchase with the company you are signed to. You are experiencing it now, you have this time, and money, tied up with this truck/lease with CR, but now you loose it all, when you leave, and might have your DAC report screwed up on top of that. Dont do it again. Either that or look for a repo truck. Their are tons of them out there, and banks are almost giving them away. I can get a 2009 Volvo 880 high roof Special Edition with 80k miles, still under warranty for another 220k miles, for 70k bucks. And when you own/lease the truck personally, you can leave when you want/need to, and go to what ever you want, without loosing the lease you were in with the company you leased it thru.

Does US Xpress pay for schooling if you agree to work for them for "X" amount of time or do they make you pay for schooling up front & then be reimbursed?

Their Tunnel Hill, GA terminal is really close to home for me and I just wanted a little info on them.

They did when I started driving..

But not at the Tunnel Hill Location. Closest one to you I think would be Medway OH. But I think I remember seeing that they use local driving schools, but that was some time ago.

All I can say is call a recruiter and ask..
