If the alt power light is on either the belt is too loose or the generator is bad. Be careful fidgeting with these comfort pros. They’ve purposely made certain bolts only able to withstand a specific torque ratings and they’ll snap right off usually the small ones. Also I don’t think they sell the tool anymore to remove the belt links I’m not sure that’s what I heard.

I don't know if this thread is still active
I've got PC6022 on one of my trucks. I have a manual or two , but they don't explain or go it detail on syncing the battery volts to set the battery monitor, also is the service light suppost to flash glow steady, one other thing the ccu diagnostic tool part # pc1025, what is required to troubleshot one or do I need the data cable and computer software...haven't had this one to long but I like the Thermo king on my other truck.at least for now I can work on it without taking it TK. I've got software and stuff for it.

    Thanks

Syncing battery voltage is simply measuring the truck battery voltage with a meter and then setting it in the CCU by entering it using the touchpad on unit controller.

I have a problem. The unit won't produce A/C, or heat. On the controller where the lightning bolt should be it says, "off". Usually that's a run capacitor for the generator. This one is equipped with shore power, but plugging it into 110v it still says, "off". Shore power should work independently of the generator? Any ideas?

No A/C with the unit hooked to 110v shore power. Something inside the CCU? Help?

My Comfort Pro has intermittent failures trying to start. Last November it was taking a couple of cranking cycles to start and was like losing prime. Over time I changed fuel filters, fuel pump, replaced clamps and lines to no avail. I had bleed the lines to remove air etc. I could open the covers and disconnect and reconnect one of the 1/4” lines and it would start. I took it to a diesel shop and we pressurized the tank and it would start once then fail the next time. Pushed air back through the return line and it would start once then not again. It seemed I could make a change and it would start one time but then fail the next. It always seemed like it wasn’t getting fuel. We gave up and the diesel shop and I headed to MCT in Omaha. Along the way I topped off my fuel and everything started working. MCT removed the pickup lines and checked them out. They also replaced the glow plugs. We never did find the root cause but it seemed like all was well. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago it all started back again. I could remove and replace a hose it would then work once and fail the next time. I stopped by a Carrier shop in El Paso since it was not starting. Verified it would not start before they pulled me in. They hooked up the external switch and it started right away no problem. I tried it several times and it started every time. That night it would not start for me so I disconnected the 4 pin and reconnected it. Started fine and ran until the sleeper was cooled down, shut off and would not start. I feel like I am chasing a ghost. The dealer said possibly a CCU board but they are on back order until October. Does anyone have any ideas? I am about to the point of replacing the entire unit. TIA

Send it to a penn power group. Preferably either on the one in Bedford PA or West Deptford NJ. Almost never had to have a follow up repair with those guys. They’re first come but give them a call a day or two before see which day is convenient to stop by.

Convert to the G2 serpentine and eliminate all the link belt problems
