Nope, the kid chose to travel across state lines with his rifle to play vigilante, thus he went looking for trouble. It was not his fight, not even close.

I fully understand the mindset of civic minded folks, I was in the volunteer fire service for many years, up to Captain, along with a search & rescue team and EMS squad. I will help anyone in need if I can, and have many times. So, that dog don't hunt.

Hey, want to play cop, fine join the force, want to kill people join the marines. If the leaders, and I use that term extremely loosely, in these libtard cities want to disband, demonize, hamstring, and throw their Police force under the bus, along with electing criminal tolerating governor's, mayors, politicians, judges and DA's, then all that happens in those cesspools is on them, and the folks that keep electing them. They allow the evil to continue, for they do virtually nothing to stop it. I have no sympathy for that nonsense, none. They cause their own problems. Ma used to say, "You crap your pants, you put up with the stink."

A neighborhood watch is one thing, armed vigilantes is another. I will say no more on this...

3rd time since November. Almost thought about selling it and buying a little bigger RGN, but it’s good to have more than 1 wrench in your toolbox so I didn’t. Got a load of pipe on to deliver in Raleigh for a local customer….

Nashville, TN and I can't get an iced cup of SWEET TEA. What is this world coming to, any way?

No hot coffee this AM and no sweet in my tea tonight. Pass the bourbon please. I can just pour that in a glass and drink it with no temp issues or additive issues.

Bee kicks her feet up and sips. "That's better."

If KR is an armed vigilante what do you call the armed criminals that threatened his life?

Curious, ever had a friend that was into the latest get rich quick scheme? Always into something and wanted you to get in on with them. Had a friend like that. Not been in contact with him for quite some time, not sure what has happened to him. Here’s the thing, he never really lost out, always walked away with something, usually cash. Back in the early 80’s he was into buying motorcycles. I remember this because of the specific ones he was buying. Big bore sport bikes, had to be 1000’s and any street type 250. All the Japanese brands. He would buy in almost any condition. Then would get a shipping container and just stuff it full of these bikes. Shipped them to some place like Pakistan. Made like $75,000 on a container.

I remember a guy like that in school. Always on the hustle for a buck. We used to say the only thing he did for free was breathe and we weren't too sure about that.
He ran full steam ahead all day every day. He had the first cell phone I ever saw. He said that he'd sleep when he was dead.
Did real estate, brokered water rights, set up adoptions, bought and sold rare cars. You name it, he hustled it. He was the middle man on more deals than any of us could keep track of.
He had a stroke and went into a persistent vegetative state when he was thirty five. Died about two years later
