Nope, he was exactly the kind of belligerent pos and representative of many truckers today. an adult? A role model for the industry? A carefully thinking individual? certainly not, but a trucker to his core, and a *man* to boot ("i aint taking no #### even if ive been here for only a week")

I’m surprised this hasn’t happened more often around Chicagoland actually.
My brother(a DuPage County sergeant) has told me that he has gotten constant calls for the past few months over the same thing-drivers complaining about getting shorted on their paychecks or not getting paid at all and they’re threatening to go to the trucking companies’ offices to either beat the living daylights out of their bosses or shoot up their places of employment. He’s gotten a rash of calls out of Addison and Villa Park!

 

The fact that he shot himself in the gear was somewhat anticlimactic. I guess those 1099 companies there in Chicagoland got him way too upset. He should have inquired on TTR first....

 

im surprised its. not a daily occurrence considering how many tales I see here of drivers screwed over by companies nickelling and diming them. Last I read of was in Michigan driver shot manager over $20
