Definitely a good setup for what he does, sometimes I think I need something similar for what I’m doing now. I’ve been 100,000 on 5 axles no problem here in WV since I can go 104,000 here. But KY I can only go 96,000 on 5 axles, and that’s where my customer is lol. He has ask if I’d consider getting a bigger trailer….

My buddy has one in 357 and likes it. It's very simple and works.....if that's your thing. A straight out tool and not much to look at. It's not clunky or anything, just nothing special.

I got my son a 22 for his birthday a year ago. I’m very happy with the accuracy. The action seems to jam up a little if you work it too slowly. If you work it quickly it’s totally fine. Overall I’m pleased with it

This is one of three that I carry in the pick up. Shoots true and straight even when hot. Never had it jamb.

Thanks guys. That was what my friend was talking about on the 22 jam up every once in a while. I'm gonna use the gun not keep it for a show quality piece or anything. Still not sure what cal. I've got a old 336 Marlin in 30 30 already

I'm leaning more towards the 44 mag for deer in thick woods. The woods are so thick around here a scope is useless unless you're hunting the open fields

If it's a pre-buy-out marlin.....thats a much better quality than the Henry. However, the new marlins suck and I would take a Henry over the new one. Have you talked to wild west? They will make you a good reliable package. Just a thought.
