Not asking how to do it. Want to know if it had been done.
    2017 mx13 epa13
My truck used to get 8 to 10 mpg now gets 2 to 4 mpg. This started up months back when my software got updated.
    1. I was told by a guy who does deleted that on these engines they do not have to hollow out the dpf and screen filters. Is this true?
    2. A mechanic pointed at my EGR and asked me if my truck had been deleted.
    3. My engine has a blow by tube on it.
    4. The engine does regen properly.

So, is it possible to delete this without hollowing out dpf. Thus when update software occurred the regen system went back online but EGR is still blocked off?
    Or is this not possible.
    Thanks.

Not possible, they did a hack job..it had to be done properly… could be tearing up your truck… the fuel map could be incorrect and you can damage your turbo beware..

I did not have anything done to it.
It ran great when I bought it but went downhill.
When I noticed the blow by tube it got me thinking about the other stuff.
I did not think a delete could be done on this without hollowing the dpf out. I been running deleted Cummins and Detroit in trucks for years.
But I just thought I would ask just in case.
Now I'm back to trying to figure out this mpg problem. No one has come up with any answer. New hi pressure fuel pump, fuel pressure sensor did nothing.
If I pull off the EGR to take a look, will I have to get it recalibrate or anything?
Just thought I would check to see if anyone had blocked it off.

All this fuel problem started shortly after I bought it when I took it to peterbilt and they upgraded my software program.

Yep. Pete around here is useless. But I think I know someone that has Davie 4 software.
I also know s guy here that does deleted on these epa13.
I might have him take a look around. Probably knows a thing or two about paccar.
I been in 3 shops that did nothing but hook up laptop and charge me up to 300 bucks for telling me they don't know what is wrong.

I’m a firm believer that if a truck ,phone, electronic items are working well I won’t do a update until I need too or damage is possible without it .. too many times updates cause more issues than not updating.. somebody had something special in ecm that got turned back to factory setting . I suggest talking to former owner if that’s possible.

You could try Pittsburgh Power. They can look at the ecm software I believe on Peterbilt trucks. Thay have tunes to improve HP and MPG. They won't work on a truck that not EPA legal. They have dealers that can hook laptop to your truck and they see or change settings. I think they work on MX engines have the software. I have not listened to their radio show in a while.

Not possible to have a DPF delete that leaves the DPF intact. Otherwise it'd just keep filling up with soot until it plugged solid.

It is possible that maybe the EGR was deleted and the aftertreatment system was left alone.
