What makes you think your scenario is any more secure or likely to continue to succeed? I am limited by bad credit, that's a fact for me. However, I will not be in a worse scenario than I am today if that happens. But, I WILL be in a better scenario that motivates me to be the best truck driver I can be. If you'd like to finance me a truck, go ahead.
I may be misunderstanding, but I believe I was told the answer is yes on the title. But again, I might be mistaken until I look over everything, and it was at the end of the lease only. I will definitely be specific and ask about the equity I'm paying into the truck every week if the company go under. Good point. Thanks for that.

Mark, do you have a reason why you went with TEL over Schneider by chance? Is it where you live and what USA truck has as loads on their load board, or? I'm just curious about the differences between TEL and SFI and if it was a factor for you.. thanks for this log by the way. Its worth its weight in gold.
EDIT: nevermind. its the downpayment for sfi right? they told me $3000. This thread is for your truck, a brand new truck, with $0 money down and out of pocket. That's the point of this thread. Alright. Anyhow, have a good rest of the weekend partner.Last edited: Mar 26, 2022

So you think you know every lease purchase agreement out there huh?
well just a rid bit of info, my lease purchase is guaranteed by USA that’s in bot if I don’t make the payment, and if the company that owns the truck goes out of business. And I do have a a lean on it as well. It’s call due diligence and redundancy, if they go out of business I keep the truck and I make the payment to the creditors. -
Interesting.
Two people with leases from the same company with different answers to my question. -
thats because I had an attorney review the contract and break it down. That’s what the buy back insurance we pay covers…

I decided to start a YouTube channel, I am a bit apprehensive about this, that said, just like leasing, I have nothing to lose. I will plug it here when I get some content for it.
I am going to focus on 2 things off the rip, cooking and recruiting.
I will keep all political BS out of it. Only the facts, the good, the bad and the ugly. I have my carriers permission to do this. I fully intend on keeping it, serious, fun and drama free. I hope you all will come to show support, learn, see some tasty foods and have some laughs.markealy Thanks this. -
@Pepper24 before you start in…
I am a businessman, it would be unwise of me to leave revenue on the table, so yes I will be doing this for referrals and the bonuses that I would be entitled, but I will also work for that bonus, by training them on the system used, also how to read a settlement better than you!Voodoo Pyg Thanks this. -
Ok, I was supposed to be home for the weekend, and do a few short trips last week, I woke up on Tuesday with my eye swollen shut, pink eye, S… O… B…., had to kick a good load that was going Fort Wayne to Lima, would have had a 95 mile deadhead from my house. It would have paid $1900 total miles was 256, the next day I was booked on a 108 mile trip loaded 24 miles away and went to Lima paying $1290 on 133 miles including the deadhead, so I would have deadheaded 60 miles for the next day PU. Then I was looking at a round trip from Columbus to chicago and back home, round trip would have paid $2900 on 450 miles. With working 3 days only 1 night away, 944 miles $6100. But no I got pink eye. Has to kick them all. I had a few choice words and a little fit over it.
my oldest turned 13 this weekend, so I was not going to miss that, the plan was to do that week then come home from his birthday to Easter. Now I’m gonna be out and miss Easter or work a few days and put up some decent revenue. I have a load booked for the am, 18 miles away it loads and goes to OKC area, paying $3100 then if the shipper allows me I’ll deadhead 400 miles to PU, and deliver in Scranton PA for about $6300, dead head home or book something past the house with the weekend on it to have Easter dinner and CM. We will see how it plays out…
im still developing my website and videos, stay tuned for that.Voodoo Pyg and Richierich76 Thank this. -
