579 Pete broken top bunk latch

    I have a 2017 peterbilt 579. And I had my top bunk folded up. I wanted to access something so I started to pull on the latch and well it ripped out? I've tried to research but I can't find anything. How can I fix it? Please help

    What happened to the latch? Did the actual latch break and leave the fasteners in the back wall of did the latch pull the fasteners out of the back wall?

    Can you take a pic? If I can see exactly what happened I can tell you what needs to be done.

    I know that there's a rod on the passenger side but I think it may have been disconnected from the rod. Someone had told me to pull the rod but nothing happens...
