Question about trailer lights

Bungee cord around the plug to hold it in a position where the pins keep contact works sometimes too.

Brake cleaner to clean pins then put a dab of dielectric grease inside each hole on the connector. It keeps the crap out of there

 

Thw socket in the trailer becomes worn out and loose effecting the connection. Try getting a zip tie and cutting it to a bout 4 inches. Put it on the bottom of the socket and plug in the cord.this should make it tight.
I have had one in my trailer for a glfew years. One of these days I will replace the socket.

 

If you look hard enough on that shelf you’ll probably find a paste, spray or liquid for fixing broken connecting rods.
