Where is everyone #5

Alot of good truckstops that are gone now. Replaced by the mass crap we have now. Gone are the days of decent restaurants with decent service and food. Now it's all fast food crap. Sucks!

 

I think the Oxbow in Bliss is still around, but the TO and Stage Stop are the last on that stretch — KJ’s in IF is still around

 

You watched Thomas the tank engine too Lol.

The Big Boy is on display in Scranton. I think that hit around 75 mph. I remember going to quite a few train shows when I was little

 

I haven't went in today. However, last month they had one gal working the diner and the food was horrible. A bunch of microwaved frozen crap. I really haven't eaten out in over a month now. I've had all I can take of it. I'm tired of giving away my money just to get crap in return! I'm over it.

 

While you were in Colorado you should have went up to Cheyenne to go see it. It runs that line.

 

I think it's Mike in the food service section that has a wicked model train setup

 

This why I have a refrigerator and microwave in the truck. Cook at home, portion out and freeze. Then only need to warm up things.

 

I have a fridge, a deep freeze and an air fryer/oven. Only reason I was eating out was just to take a break from the truck. Sometimes it's just nice to get out and not spend my entire life in the box.

 

The Big Boy, 4014 in housed in Cheyenne. They have a couple of engines based there.

It is a real disappointment when the place is not good. just seems not worth the effort anymore. High cost, poor quality food and lack of service.
