Not to derail .. but 20 30 years ago it might not of been quite that bad because back then most every truck had a CB ..
There would of been drivers yelling those famous words ... Back it down ..back it down major pile up at mile marker ... ..... its shut down completely your gona be there awhile.
This is 1 good reason I wouldn't be with out a radio.. it just might save lives
All preventable? Crazy!

I just wonder how many cb radios then how many were on. The first guy had his radio on and someone was calling out "on northbound side" as he was wrecking.

Dang man. Thats just bad bad... Lets not forget the camera makes conditions look better than they are... So we can assume in his eyes he could barely see past his hood. But still doing about 60mph.Another Canadian driver, JonJon78 and nredfor88 Thank this.

In weather like that if you don’t see any traffic headed in the opposite direction, wouldn’t you have some small idea that there may be trouble ahead. I don’t understand how anyone in a car or truck could continue to drive at an elevated speed in those conditions. Just wonder how old the driver is and how much experience he had?Another Canadian driver and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
