When I move, if I can find a localish company job, I'm gonna jump on it. Park mine and let someone else foot the bills for awhile. Plus....get benefits again. We'll see. I wish you luck.

#6 exhaust valve push rod is not only bent, but cracked. But #1 swallowed an exhaust valve. Just hope they can save it….BigBob410, jamespmack, exhausted379 and 11 others Thank this. -

I know you folks are simply looking at pictures, and it’s not the same as looking at it in person…
From what I’m seeing, there is a couple things that could have happened.
(1). Engine was over revved.. maybe even a case of “Georgia Overdrive”??
(2). Jake brakes adjusted to tight…
(3). Wrong set of Jakes for this engine. After looking at the Jacobs chart, this engine has the wrong Jakes according to Jacobs Brake company. Then again, maybe they were adjusted wrong? These adjust at .021 and the proper Jakes like on my engine adjust at .018. Either way, a Jake set to tight is likely to touch the piston at higher rpm….
From what I can see, everyone else is as it should be, other than a valve head embedded in the piston lol….
