I would not try to pull it over with your truck. You will do nothing but rip the d rings out. You really have to attach more than 1 strap or rope.. I've been trying to come up with a way to use a snatch block or pulley system for quite a while to create more leverage but I dont tarp that much to make it worth it.. It's much easier to just kick the forklift guy in the ### and make him throw the tarps up top... I would just run it and never look back. If the customer complains, oh well. They are going to wash the marble off anyways before it gets installed.

If getting there night before, wash em, then set tarps out as if you untarped at night when you arrived...

You could even buy some cheap bottle water. Then poke a hole in the lid with your pocket knife. Then spray them and wipe clean....ish. cheaper than a truck wash.

This must be a pretty relaxed schedule to deliver this load. Few days to tarp, hope you deliver before Easter.

Lol. What I meant was I'd try before I started driving. It wasn't a relaxing trip at all.

I had that stuff washed last night. Now that stuff is even cleaner than when it was loaded.

Just waiting to get unloaded now. There are a few other trucks here with frame loads. I don't see any tarps.

Jesus, that's creative, but stupid in this case. You've got no feedback on how the tarp and strap is handling it, and the truck will have no problem tearing stuff up. I know you're getting unloaded now, but in the future, forget that "advice". There's a time and a place for those antics, and this is not one of them.

I have insulated coveralls for winter. It's now too warm for hard-core clothes.

Clearly, I do need thinner, summer covers. Because people do double-takes on me when I'm out and about
