Unlimited 200™ Professional Multiprocess Welder with 120/240V Input
Does MIG/TIG/Stick and if I pick up the Spool Gun, it can do aluminum, too. Got a boat that I need to fix from when I was chopping the ice out and the ice spud went through it.
For now, I'm just using the Flux core wire, since I can't justify the cost for the gas bottle and gas for right now, and need to practice up anyway to see if I'll be good enough to warrant anymore investment. On the other hand, if I get my own rig, I have a portable repair shop.
The welder itself is only 24 lbs and the whole shipping weight (box and styrofoam, cables, wire, etc) weighs 46 lbs.

You can tig aluminum. Comes out way better than the spool gun too.DeereRunner97, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 7 others Thank this.

It is, but apparently enforcement isn't a real priority in the PC environment. Kind of like the tinting restrictions. The cool politicians heard from the griping cool kids, so they changed the laws on that. It used to be a low level of tint, now some states are allowing ANY amount. Sad.DeereRunner97, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 4 others Thank this.

I learned only recently that they actually have Aluminum stick welding rods too, so that's an option for portability as well. Trailer repairs on the road with either steel or aluminum...the only thing you need is the generator to kick out 240 volt, and you can use full voltage capaiblities for thicker material. But you can't Tig Aluminum with this rig.Elroythekid, DeereRunner97, Gatordude and 6 others Thank this.
