Aluminum after exposed to elements is hard to repair.....and stay repaired. If you get into tig, it's fun. You can do alot and it looks really good.

Well, I think the quality depends on the prep work, but either way, yeah, I want to see how well I can do tig, and if need be, there are some low cost Aluminum tig welding machines this guy has used that look reasonable if I needed a dedicated TIG machine, but like I said, this should give me enough capability and variety to see how far I want to chase that rabbit down the rabbit hole. :)

Oldest grandsons birthday was today. My wife ask what he wanted for supper at the party. He said Beans & cornbread… I like the way he thinks! Out with the youngest grandson playing on the tractors and found some wild green onions, so yes I took them to the house….

Unless you have high duty cycle needs, you won't need water cooled. Foot vs finger controls is a personal preference. Tig is fun, you'll really like it.

You're correct. Amber or white in front, amber on the sides, red in back. Commercial vehicles are also required to display the ICC pattern on the front upper and rear of the vehicle.
