Disclose the last physical, then tell the new doctor the reason for your large neck; "Years of manual labor that made your upper body muscular."
You can get a new physical every day and it's not illegal as long as you disclose the previous physical.MidwestResident and a.paul Thank this. -
I just got off the phone with a place who said, essentially, ‘what’s this about neck circumference?’
Aamcotrans, MidwestResident and Chinatown Thank this. -

Only if they ask? Didn’t someone unthread say I had to?

You've never been diagnosed, so no. A doctor suggesting to get a sleep study isn't a diagnosis.
wis bang, Aamcotrans, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -
You don't. If you choose to work for a company, the company decides what you must do. Think of it like dating a woman. She doesn't have to choose you and you don't have to choose her. If you and her want to date, you have to do what she wants and she has to do what you want, unless one of you is desperate.

If you ask a barber do you need a haircut, what will his answer ALWAYS be? If you ask car salesman is now the right time to buy a car, what will his answer ALWAYS be? It is your job to look out for your best interest. The barber, car salesman, doctor/nurse giving out DOT exams is looking out for their interest. Trucking will spit you out very quickly unless you protect you and stop expecting everyone to look out for what is best for you. Sleep studies are not required by the FMCSA, but doctors and nurses decide what their customers "must do" to get the exam from the doctor or nurse. Find the doctor that is doing what you want. NEVER tell a doctor or nurse anything that will end your job. The doctor or nurse can end your job if you say the wrong thing. Don't say the wrong thing.
