I believe that the 2050 has different bearings, I think the roadranger site has parts lists if you can navigate their maze![]()

I have a 10sp and supposedly peterbilt said since i have a c in the number on the tranny i can convert it to a 13 easy. I have heard you can put a box on the back of the 10sp to make it a 13 is this true?
-
I know you can with a 9spd but never heard about a 10 that way.

The only downside to a 13 spd is the extra weight and cost vs a 9 or 10 speed, but well worth it in my book.

I always thought the same thing but after doing some searching I found there isn't a very big weight difference between any of them.
9spd - 583-716#
10spd - 592-690#
13spd - 714#
15spd - 696#
18spd - 716# -
I guess it depends on what you hauling if I understand this correctly the 13 is the most suitable no matter what you hauling...10-4

13 spd's are great transmissions. Virtually indestructable, they are a great transmission.

i installed a rtlo-16713a
really nice -
I just bought a T600 with a 13-spd tranny. I don't think I can ever go back to 9- or 10-spd.
Being able to split top 4 gears is very nice even just bobtailing. I'll be pulling a flatbed, so I'd imagine there'll be significant improvement going up hill when I'm loaded to 75,000+ lbs. -
where did you get the trans? how much was it? thanks
