We'll see how far this off shore windmill project goes. I haven't seen any numbers yet but I can believe the cost of an off shore tower as opposed to a land based tower would get everybody's attention.Another Canadian driver and nredfor88 Thank this. -

Same here in Southern Nevada. Colorado river supplies the water and that water comes from melting snow in the Rocky Mountains. Very little snow this year, so it's going to be bad this summer for water.

Water is a business in California. A guy that I went to school with is a lawyer and his entire practice has to do with water issues. It's not a small practice either. Him, a couple of partners, a dozen or so associates, and whole bunches of para legals and secretaries stay on the jump every day.
I used him when one of my neighbors decided that he was entitled to increase his water allotment by taking part of mine. He was upstream from me on the supply ditch and he thought that meant he got his water first. He moved up here from San Francisco and didn't understand the concept of water rights.
Logic and reason didn't work so the dummy sued me. He lost. He's since sold out and moved to some city in Arizona.Another Canadian driver, Chinatown and nredfor88 Thank this.
