Class before mine when I took the engine portion of apprenticeship school had forgot to tighten down the injector hold down on a Series 50 they tore down and reassembled. When they went to crank it over it the instructor said the injector ended up getting launched through the valve cover!

PODS easy work, most of the time. Way high winds in SLC. Throw the hook over the top, expect to hear it hit, nope, comes sailing back over at a high speed like a #### giant pitched it back! I finally had to catch the rail and rappel down the other side.

I have this mentor who has been trucking about 10 years longer then I have. When I have a situation like this one, he just happens to be around. He saw me rappel down the side of the POD box and lost his grip! GD it girl what the ---- are you doing this is not the ------- Army, you will kill yourself doing that ----. Let me show you how yo do this!

Yes, he threw it and that darn giant sent it back at a high speed.

"Get up there Bee, gotta get this tied down!"

humidity is the worst. i hate any weather that is over 70 degrees. but even i will take 115+ in arizona any day of the week before i will take 80+ degrees with 100% humidity.... ill never forget the day i was in alabama tarping a load of lumber in 105 degrees with 100% humidity. i thought that was my gonna be my last day on earth. drank 2 gallons of water and was still severly dehydrated. the guy tarping behind me seen i was about to fall over dead and helped me finish tarping.. guy must have been 60 years old and was barely sweating.. i said to him, you guys down here are a different breed.. he says its just how it is, you get used to it... yeah i dont know... send me to north dakota in 40 below... id much rather...

    Well, it depends.
Home is just over that hill there.
If you are talking about MO. That's complicated. We were supposed to be closing on Thursday. Now that's not happening. Everyone there works at a snails pace and it's frustrating as hell! Trying to get answers out of those people is like pulling teeth. Still waiting on the appraisal. Because he works at his own pace, which is just shy of reverse and the bank doesn't want to call him. Because he'll call when he's done. Well, he was supposed to be done last week, so how about that call? Nah, he'll call us they say. Holy ####! How do these people get anything done is beyond me. So the truck/trailer is all loaded up and I was supposed to leave today with a load over there. I have to sign in person because they can't just overnight the paperwork here....like everyone else. Just a #### show.
