Yep!

 

We are talking about on road trucks not competition.

 

I haul lumber out.....because it's all I have in my area for the most part. It definitely doesn't pay great.....thats for sure.

 

Dont worry there is plenty of blow hards up in the northwest that will tell you they haul nothing but lumber and made 2 million dollars in 6 months with it on 1 truck... Usually the same guy that claims to get 10 mpg on a hood truck.... We all know its bs but you cant tell them that.

 

Those are working trucks, everyday, working trucks.

Maybe they are, I dunno the guys.
However, how profitable can that truck be on the road? I dunno how much something like that costs to put together or keep running for that matter. However, it can't be cheap or profitable.......as a working truck. Mpg isn't everything, but it is part of the equation. Anywho.....who knows.

 

If I could figure out how to make $2mil while making 10mpg in the mountains......I wouldnt be moving. You need to hook me up with some contacts.

 

Watch the videos, they are all plated for the most part, I see them on the road in quebec all the time.

 

Lol if i knew them i would. Crazy i ran that part of the country everyday and hauled lumber from a broker maybe 2 or 3 times. The rest of it was direct and the rate was still not great, usually just a load to get me to a better paying load... But the amount of times i constantly ran into guys that ran the same area as me and claimed to haul nothing but lumber and were making close to 500k a year with 1 truck... Yeah ok... Some things are hard to believe
