Yep it makes sense to me but I always have a rate figured out in my head on min I will run the load. I use it to neg a little higher rates with some brokers that are a pain in the ###.

My normal broker I use I do not use quick pay so no charge. Just on the ones I don't like using and add even more for that. DOn't ever care if I get the jobs so it never bothers me if they pass if that make any sense.

3 months from the load? Or 3 months from when the invoice is “accepted”? Because there is a difference

I just negotiate the most I can. During that phase, I don't even know if I'm doing quick pay or not. Depends on how I feel about the broker.

Do you do the books or do you have someone do it? That is another reason I don't like waiting 30 days to complete the process in quickbooks. Like to do it all as fast as I can to not be bothered by it.

I mean, counting out long wheel base 10’s on to my door jam is a slightly better feeling …

edit: and of course it always gets properly filed…

Also with this new truck payment I may change my ways on this thinking since it could add up to be maybe a free month for the truck payment. Something to really consider in the future now.

again, from when YOU invoice, or from
When they ACCEPT the invoice, 90 days from invoice when it takes them 90 days to ACCEPT = 180 days waiting for money…

From when I invoice it, meaning once it is delivered time starts because I email it out right after.

I don't know how he does it, but my clock starts ticking one second after I click "send". If they have trouble accepting the invoice, they'd better be quick, because I'm emailing in fifteen minutes to see if anyone received the paperwork. Had the ole "it went in my spam folder" ######## once or twice. Poor excuse. I check my spam every time I check my inbox, because anyone with half a brain knows things accidentally go to spam on occasion.
