Mine is the same as well. Only issue you have if same amount of another one then you have to confirm what one is right.

I wrote a book on personal and business credit for millennials last year. Net terms are a way of establishing Tier 1 Vendor credit. Allows you to supply your business without paying for it upfront and using your gains from it to prove responsible debtor and lending practices to larger lenders down the line.TheLoadOut, God prefers Diesels, Midwest Trucker and 1 other person Thank this.

This is my issue as well but 1/2 dozen to one 6 to the other issue.TheLoadOut, God prefers Diesels and Siinman Thank this.

Why bother claiming it as income, only to turn around and deduct it. I just claim Net paid on each Load as my Revenue, don’t bother keeping track of any costs to get it. If it’s not collected it’s not Revenue. That’s how I figure it anyway. Could be wrong. I doubt it’s a big deal, if it’s wrong. It’s a wash either way.

I do the credit card thing on a lot of big expenses. Get cash back and pay off cc before invoice so I don’t pay interest. Seller pays fee, bank gives me some of that fee back to me. Been doing it for about 5 years. Thousands..

Yes, it is. Since you are paying for the service. Even though it might not be much at the end. You should include it.TheLoadOut and Siinman Thank this.

It's not a big deal. It depends how everyone is doing their accounting. It's correct either way.
I include full amounts (the amount billed), then at the end deduct deductions.TheLoadOut and Siinman Thank this. -
I have a spreadsheet. And the billed amount must match the rate con/invoice for me including any lumper fees. If they deduct for a service, then it will show up in deductions. Everyone likes to do things their own way.Last edited: Apr 8, 2022
