Out of the shop from Gary.
Some of it is fixed, but the steering still pulls a little bit to the right.

And once again, after telling me how they would increase my speed, I still have 63 on the pedal and 65 cruise and the Pass Smart does nothing at all.

I received a message about high winds in my area, and some trucks blown over in MN.
Yup, got that from weather radio and a couple other places.

I am in that area but the wind is from the south and I am headed north with a very light load. 4.7 thousand, so basically empty.
I shut down in Des Moines, IA at the Love's, just to avoid that stretch of 13 miles or so that would be direct cross winds.
Right now my truck is rocking back and forth from the wind.

    jurupa valley at home.
got to the terminal and trailer I was picking up had a marker lite out and whoever tcalled the load didn't leave bol with trailer.
shop fixed the lite and I went to dispatch and he called that driver.
he was an hour away so I waited.
then got a message from Denver driver saying they were not running.
that 70 was closed due to snow and high winds down i25.
my dl said loads were scarce around here so I couldn't do a Lathrop or pheonix run.
    so came home.
called the other driver to see if he wanted to run tomorrow thru Saturday but he said his dl said he was leaving Thurs.
he can't make his own decision and has to be told.

You always seem to have problems from that other end, and this end with no BOL.
But that driver should have scanned it in when it was t-called, and that copy should have been made available to you.

Don't you hate it when so many other drivers don't do their job correctly?
The new t-call system was put into place because of Covid, and it is nice.
As long as the first driver does their job correctly.

    Mauston, WI.
Some pretty high winds today so I shut it down.

And people were driving like crazy was the new normal.
Everyone bunching up as close as they could, cutting me and everyone else off so they might get in front of one more car or truck.

    dwells40 and dptrucker Thank this.

People (mainly truckers) going 66 against my 65, creeping past me for miles so they can be ahead 1 or 2 minutes by the end of the day, then cutting back in with about 10 feet of clearance.
After creating a line a mile long of much faster vehicles.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.
