I am sure if he had a redo button, he would of done things very differently. He has now lost both parents and his sister is slipping away a well.

I am told he spends a lot of time in his cell reading the bible. I hope he finds and answers and peace between the covers.

One thing I’ve learned about my 051, and others that folks own. Need to hang it by the handle with the blade down is storing for more than a couple days or a week.

Prone to get hydrostatic lock from bar oil. Yea I know sounds crazy, but it’s true. I know of 3 of these saws that have the same problem.

Pull the sparkplug and yank the rope till it quits spitting oil, then fire it up and fog the local area of mosquitoes….

That's crazy. I've never even heard of that. Maybe an o-ring or seal prone to premature failure. I dunno.

From what I’ve learnt about it, it’s a gasket or crack in the wall of the tank. Still odd how it gets on top the piston but it does. It will make a big mess blowing oil out all over the place. First time it ever done it I like to broke may crazy wrist when the pull handle stretched my fingers out like taffy.

It doesn’t have a compression release, and that adds to the problem as well. It just seems to be mature of the beast though. I have an 051 to go get for parts, owner said he took it apart because it kept getting oil in the cylinder….

I didn’t need that big long bar that was on it when I got it years ago, so I put a 20” bar on it….
