It’s recommended my cb use a 100 amp power supply. Will hooking directly to my batteries offer this amperage continuously for optimal cb performance?

What brand/model of CB radio do you have that requires a 100 amp power supply?

I’ve been trying to find videos of big power setups that have been installed in the truck but all I’m finding are tech videos and people who test big radios in their shops. None that show “In the truck” setups.

Yes it’s possible with the truck running and most likely idled up.
Is this your truck or a company truck?
Stray RF is going to be your biggest problem with the amount of electronics in modern trucks.

Ask the folks that built the radio. Or find a high end car audio shop that deals with high powered car audio systems. As far as the RF end of the install......unless you know your stuff about antenna systems...............best left to an expert!
    Good luck!

1000 watts, peak at say 1500 watts only requires 120 amp

With the proper antenna you can work ISS with 5 Watts.

Don't be mad. Just joking. And curious too. What is this for?
