I agree. It gets pretty repetitive. In the end, you just can't take that crap too seriously. A bunch of guys arguing on the internet, nothing new there. However, that's kinda the purpose of that section.......no? So, in knowing that............

 

Yup. It's a place for people to blow off steam, insult each other, make cruel fun of alternative viewpoints, and wallow in all the juicy conspiracy theories they can dream up. A lot of the people there aren't capable of civilized debate so they resort to defamation and veiled threats. It would be alarming if it wasn't so sad and pointless. If I held the views of some of those people I sure wouldn't be advertising it on the web.

No problem...the password is thickskin...all one word, all lower case.

 

The politics section isn't terrible so long as you mute a certain 3-4 members. Pretty sure a few of you can guess which ones.

 

Enough of the politics or this thread will be sent to the political section. Clean it up guys.

Agreed, that's what it's there for.

 

If you don't want to be there then you don't go there...what's the problem?
The positives are that you can find out what some people think or want to think, and being astonished or amused by it never ends.
Some stuff is funny, some outright dumb and stupid, some you just have to ignore...
Nobody forces nobody to nothing...
But some things that are said there, if said in real life ... let's say a discussion at a truck stop picnic table, would not end up in a too civilized way, I am afraid.
