Thanks. I don't do asphalt, so I didn't think of that. Never noticed it before, but strangely enough, I saw one near Memphis today.

If hauling sand and gravel or rock a lot get a dump bed with a hard liner in it.It will last much longer.

Dual dump controls to pull a pup.

That’s a great looking truck. Don’t think I’ve seen any around my area with that style bed.

I’d suggest going to work for a company for a while to learn the business before you sink a lot money into it.

if you wanted to own a pizza restaurant, wood you think working at one for a few months to learn the business , would be a good idea ?

the insulated beds are for asphalt , to keep it hot on the way to the delivery .

We bought it from the KW dealer in Fairbanks, they call it a Classic bed, with a liftgate. Its a 2008,but we bought it as new in 2010.MSRP was $212,000,we bought it for $150,000.

I don’t disagree, wish I would have about 10 years ago. I’ve got a regular job with a brother in law that can drive the truck to start. Hoping to get going and fill in on nights/weekends or whenever necessary until I could get a second truck and go full time.

The insulated bed makes sense but I know I’ve seen guys running asphalt with a solid side steel bed.
