Had enough of the idiots slippin n sliddin on the hill. Yesterday on the way up I spies a flatbed totally smashed up and a couple cars with it on the WB side. 3 hrs later headed back down got stuck in the backup from that. Dude or dudette did a fine job of destroying a pretty truck. So F that I'll take a leisurely cruise on 299 to Eureka

 

Just sitting at the kitchen table, drinking coffee, as Missus Skillet continues to slumber peacefully.

I'm not going back out until about 6am Monday. Destination Cedar Rapids IA.

Our furry grandson is coming for a weekend visit. I can't wait!

On the way to the load I dropped off on Thursday, I passed a vending machine company that was hiring.

I checked their website and saw enough to pique my interest. I might even apply so I can talk things over with them. We'll see.
