1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Mabe's Trucking is in Eden, NC. You could give them a try. I worked for them for a year and their runs are pretty good.

I have an opportunity to sign on with FedEx Custom Critical, but I live in CA and they want a team. I had a guy that was gonna go with me, but after being approved by FedEx he decided that he didn't want to do it. Now I cannot seem to find a reliable co driver willing to run all 48. They have to have a clean record and not be a drinker. Anyone know anybody that would be interested? I am here to make money not party or be lazy. I am the owner/operator will be very fair, but will not be taken advantage of. It's hard to find people who are true to their word and do as they say. Especially in this business.
My truck is not new or classy or the best out there, but mechanically it is completely rebuilt this past year. In this day and age I need to make it last as long as I can and need to find a person who will not break it. If it breaks the driver loses a ride. TAKE CARE OF THE EQUIPMENT. Taking care of the equipment is #1! They take care of the equipment and I will take care of them, I'm not saying I will make anyone rich, I am just saying I have a seat available. If it all works out I hope to buy a newer truck or two. I hope to grow, but need a reliable driver willing to grow with me.

Truck pictured is not the truck we will be driving, it is my brother's local truck because I am out on the road working to make this happen.

would also like to know of a few companies that are actually hiring right through now. 3 yrs, van/reefer (ugh), clean sheet, no felonies...
I'm willing to learn load securement for flats, but haven't gotten desperate enough to learn doubles or tankers!!
Oh, and can't--for my life!--sleep in a moving truck. Guess that makes me a non-teaming dinosaur!:biggrin_25523:
